The rise of the EU in the beginning of this 21st century seemed to have pan-European political potential, awareness and strength. Now, however, I see that EU is more and more under the influence of big capital and special interests that doesn’t serve the European countries and its people. This must be stopped, by the population itself.

I’m 74 years old and live in Belgium in the Antwerp-Kempen region. I’ve been working for the last 22 years as an independent psychotherapist in my own practice. Privately I play the French Horn in 2 musical amateur groups and like to work in the garden and the house as handyman. I also have an avid interest in ecology, health, world- and European politics, alternative energy and wind turbine technology. I see this initiative with Be European Spring as a last but important project in my life.
